Reigning Nigeria’s highlife musician, Flavour Nabania recently shut down the neighbouring country of Gambia in a concert tagged, “Independence Flavour Concert” which held at the Banjul National Stadium in Gambia.
The concert which was part of celebrations for Gambia’s 49th independence had about 7,000 people in attendance including Her Excellency Aja Dr. Isatou Njie – Said, the Vice-President of Gambia and top government officials who thronged the venue to catch a glimpse of Flavour’s performance.
The philanthropic musician did not stop there but seized the opportunity to make a donation to the Jammeh Foundation For Peace Orphanage where he donated education materials including exercise books, mathematical sets, stationery and school pack refreshments.
Flavour was received and hosted in an earlier ceremony by the Vice-President of Gambia.
And later, he performed to a lively crowd of about 7,000 fans who had been patiently waiting to see Flavour perform in Gambia for the first time.
